The 2024 Shanghai International Carbon Neutrality Technology, Product and Achievement Expo (hereinafter referred to as "2024 Carbon Expo") is held from June 5th to 8th at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. This Carbon Expo is themed "Towards the Road of Carbon Neutrality", focusing on carbon capture, utilization, storage, as well as energy-saving and low-carbon technologies. The exhibition will showcase the latest progress and innovative achievements of more than 600 enterprises from 14 countries and regions, and is expected to attract over 80,000 visitors.

The total scale of the 2024 Carbon Expo exceeds 100,000 sqm, with more than 600 exhibiting companies, covering well-known domestic and international enterprises. Among them, international companies like BASF also appear at this expo, sharing their latest progress in carbon reduction and green low-carbon technologies.

Green Blueprint, Peak Together

The Shanghai Municipal Government has recently issued the "Key Work Arrangement for Carbon Peaking, Carbon Neutrality and Energy Saving and Emission Reduction in Shanghai in 2024", which clearly stated that 2024 is a key year for implementing the "14th Five-Year Plan", and emphasized the need to coordinate the promotion of carbon reduction, pollution reduction, greening, and growth, and to deeply promote the construction of ecological civilization and green low-carbon development. In addition, Shanghai has also formulated an action plan to accelerate the establishment of a product carbon footprint management system and create a green low-carbon supply chain, in order to help achieve the goals of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality.
